Why is augmentation one of the most frequently carried out procedures in the aesthetic and plastic surgery field? It is definitely not a sign of extravagance. The decision is often based on deeper feelings of one’s own imperfection and a lack of self-confidence. Hardly anything can be a bigger blow, for any woman, than a disappointing result after an augmentation surgery. Although rarely discussed, the result is significantly affected by post-surgery care. Because we at LIPOELASTIC know that compression and post-operative care is for each patient very important, we came up with a special two-step programme that eliminates undesirable effects.

Compression therapy following the augmentation means the right selection of compression bra.

Sports bras available on the market are completely unsuitable as these are not designed for compression treatment. And, in fact, may cause some health complications to a patient, including breast asymmetry.

Therefore LIPOELASTIC offers two step program to patients undergoing the healing process to reach the perfect result and stabilisation of the implants. These compression bras mutually complement one another and will lead the patient safely through the treatment process. 

Breasts are swollen and bruised immediately after augmentation surgery. However, the swelling and pain will gradually subside in several days. For this specific period we recommend bra  PI special, PI extra, PI active or PI ideal. All of these bras are suitable for the first stage in compression therapy after the surgery.

Approximately two weeks later, patients come for the first post-surgery consultation. When stitches are removed, patient enters the second follow-up care phase, which lasts for about 4-6 weeks. For this second stage of the postoperative care we recommend PI unique bra.
