Recovery
It might take around 6 weeks for recovery from liposuction. You will be advised to wear a special type of post-operative compression garment covering the areas that were treated. To encourage your skin to heal properly close the dead space and reduce any swelling and thus minimising the potential risks. Your surgeon might recommend you wear compression garments for at least 3 months after the procedure.
